I got into modding basically when i was about 7, I found out about a thing for PS1 (I'm sure you can all guess), so i got my Dad to order me one, and he helped me install it since he does a lot of things with electronics....Then after that i really stopped because there was nothing else to do...Then I discovered Acidmods, my friend showed me the forums and it just really took off from there. Example 1
Heres The Wiimote Mod with Blue LED's in the Nunchuck Port, B button and speaker...And in the Nunchuck it has another blue LED... I give it a 4 out of five becuase the glue job in the nunchuck port doesn't look good if you really look at it up close. Took me around 30 mins to do everything.




Example 2
PSP Green Trigger mod.. I give this one a 3 only because this was the first PSP Mod I did and i drilled the triggers a little to deep. Took me about an hour to complete.




Example 3
Ds Lite Case Swap. This one took me a while only because the Top Screen is hard to fit through the case I'd say it took me around 2 hours. Ill give myself a 4 on it.

Custom made PSP Jewel Fitted. Would give my self a 3 out of 5, the hole wasnt perfect, and the Jewel wasnt great too *I WILL NOT BE SUPPLYING JEWELS, THEY MUST BE SOURCED THROUGH NEUBIT*

Wii Faceplate Swap. Give my self a 5 out of 5, took about 10 mins, was very easy, and the Remote functioned perfectly (Would love to take up a full case swap)

About Me

I am TimmyDX (aka XionDs in some of my videos) I have put up my modders for hire add before but removed it for personal reasons, but i still get asked so i thought id put back up.

I am me, i live in western australia and have just finished school. I have applied for further study but im having my gap year this year. As far as modding experience is concerned i was exposed to soldering and electronics at a very young age having a electrician for a dad. I started modding during the psp release year some time when i did the psp you see above. Unfortunately a wire came loose on the U.P. about a week after i closed it up shorting stuff and destroying it. But i made my return with my all time favourite console brand nintendo, since then i havn't looked back modding everything from calculators and gameboy monos to gamecubes and even my bass amplifier.

My other hobbies include music and spraypainting and extreme sports. My bass guitar is always by my side and my new shredding effects pedal, i love to spraypaint anything i can to give it a nice renewed look and me and my friends just enjoy adreniline rush.

After that i found acidmods which got me interested in psp hardware mods and i've been modding them ever since.

Modding Example

Example 1
Typhoon's UV Modded PSP. This was one of my first psp i modded for a friend. I swapped the case for a clear one, added UV leds to the triggers and swapped the Led indicators to UV. i'd give this a rating of 3 out of 5.

Example 2
Black crystal/Blue PSP Slim. This was my own psp untill it was sold recently  . This had alot of work done to it. Iswapped the case for a black crystal one, swapped the Led indicators to blue, added sound reactive leds to the triggers, added a led fader mod to the umd door and fitted a photofast cr-3100 memory mod in the UMD drive bay. Id give this a rating of 4 out of 5.

Example 3
Nightshade PSP Slim. This was made of the ShateredMods Jan Mod-Off. I like to think this is one of the best psp's i've modded (to the point of keeping it, lol). ok, so i swapped the case for a new OEM black one, added sound reactive leds to the triggers and UMD ring of light, added a led fader mod to the triggers and the ring of light, installed a speaker in the UMD door, installed a photofast cr-3100 in the UMD bay, custom painted a black trim and made a custom gameboot and cintro. I'd give this a rating of 5 out of 5 due to the mods added and the space limitations.

Hi guys im know im new on the forums of acid mods but thats mostly because ive been doing my first mods and havnt had alot of time to post so ill do it know.

Ive had a computer since i was 5 and have always been addicted to my computers & consoles but i also like electronics and have been messing around with electronics since i was born i even ust to take apart cams when i was like 3 and fiddle with them but i never learn how to put them back together so my mum was forever finding cams that fell apart when you picked them up lol

Led Swap on a DS Phat. Simple but adds to the overall look of your DS. I give it 5 stars. Can do any color desired.



Example add onto example 1
Dual Nub on PSP phat. Takes A while but finishes with a great outcome! I have a Dremal now so I won't have to send it to anyone to cut it. I Give it a 4 out of 5 because I don't play many FPS Games and the faceplate stays up a bit (Every Dual nub is like that.)
(Ps:I did this with a broken faceplate so it was already scratched up and was messed up)

Example 1
I give this mod a 4/5 because it works like new and only thing bad it no clear back plate. I got the psp broken for 30$ and repaired it and modded it. (I can do Any COLOR LEDs Desired.)

The top screen on DS phats break on a lot of people. I got my DS free and just replaced the 5$ ribbon. Its hard to find the ribbon needed. So I give this repair a 5/5 because I got a free DS out of it and it didn't take long to fix and works perfect now.
