Music MAKING? I have Adobe Soundbooth CS3,and it can make new files and edit music files, but I've never made anything so I don't know how good it's gonna be for you.And it's expensive.

*cough* i do * cough*
but im not going tell which computer i use it on cuz with my luck all those music companies will be looking at this one post out of the whole internet and between all of y friends and me using their computers... about 5 diff ones.... ill never tell... im not telling more than i did
the only probs ive heard of it doing is giving your computer major amounts of viruses, havent had that prob yet though

btw i dont really know of many music making programs other than garageband.... but thats more for just little projects and nothing really big.... fun though once you figure it out

next time read what the others have said.  I'm looking for a music creating program.  not a music player.

Hmm for this one you could try Fruity Loops, or there's a good Sony program, I think its called Acid but I'm not totally sure.

yea acid music studio by sony is the garageband+ of pcs. it has more options and controls stuff. but you have a way less appealing and easy gui. theyre some other one i heard of though to make techno though sry cant remember. goldwave edits.

Ken i wouldnt have done it any other way

wow, this has been resuracted.  I'll try those out.  I got Fruity loops which is cool but it's more for making loops than songs.

I use alot of music production software but I mainly use reason 4 with sony acid and sound forge but if you want to use loops live and make a unique show use ableton live i also use cakewalks konetik 2 more like a tap pad but is good for songs
