sound reactive hold switch mod

ok i just decided to make a new thread on how to do this.

ok so i need to no how to wire a sound reactive led on the hold switch
i no u dont need to wire to mobo becuz the pb will do that job
but were do u put the resisters, and which ones do i need?

do this ^^^^^, but wire to the hold switch into it on the 5v source, using the last method from teh_overlords tut:

To use the hold switch for other things:

Step 1: scratch the hold trace as shwon (this is to disable the hold function) see pic below.

Step 2: Solder One of the wires in the circuit into the first leg of the hold switch, and solder another piece of wire into the second leg.

Step 3: Solder the wire that is soldered into the second leg of the hold button into wherever it would normally go.

****EDIT***** acutally it probly be easier to do it with the ground, beucase ull use less wireing becuase there is a ground ont he PCB, as opposed to having to take the 5v wire all the way back to the speaker area

Connect them together, their color coded... red to red, green to green...  :victory:

thats only a 3.6v source. FOr the sound mod, you need a 5v source

The powerboard puts out 5.3v :P
