Well since I was ABLE to buy my friend's white DS (i got black), I case modded both of them. I opened them up, switched out the tops first, then the buttons, then the L and R buttons, then the power and volume buttons, then I closed it up (had some annoying problems getting the springs in w/o letting them pop, and before that, putting that black antenna cable in, and then finding out that my friend's ds has a problem with his Rbutton where it feels like the spring is not there even though it is clearly there and not popped) Anyway.... I got it finished, they both work, going to sell the one that has a black outside and black buttons with white inside, and I'm going to keep the other
