I love to joke, and I love having Porsches pull over and let me pass. Most Yamaha strokers have their patented Autolube system, which I had on a 1971 2 stroke V50 Yamaha and I see is still being used on their modern 50cc screaming singles. No mixing oil and fuel for me!

Sure, but with racing exhaust, pod filters and rejetted carbs I reckon I could pull 180kph. This is all stock, you see. BTW, Porches are fantastic cars. It was a 911 Turbo, probably mid-seventies early eighties, with a modified blowoff valve (stock 911 Turbos don't sound like a compressed air cartridge going off!). He had me on the straightaways, and on the sweepers it was really evenly matched, but he was swinging the thing sideways in the twisties trying to lose me and my lovely little VT held onto him just fine. I'm hoping to go straight pipes with pod filters and high-flow heads, should bring me a few extra ponies and compensate for the lack of fairing. I'm painting the engine today, so it looks like someone used it for Christmas present wrapping practice, but come tomorrow I'll refit the tank and ZXR tailpiece and give you guys a look.

I make pizzas for a pizza restaurant, and I work at the Triumph dealership in Christchurch. I love working in a bike shop, but the pay is terrible. I hate working for a restaurant, but the pay is good, so pick your poison. I'd actually kinda like to be a delivery guy, there's a company in Christchurch that has these guys hooning round on tricked out scooters and they look like fun. All the major bike shops in Christchurch are along one street, and the Ducati/Honda dealership services them, and according to the mechanic there they rip pretty hard.

I'm into ton-up speeds with 150 rear tyres, hitting 2 Gs in hard hairpins with no room left to turn, slipping the rear wheel out in a crossed-up slide, exhaust spitting flames a meter out the back under hard deceleration, popping monos past lines of traffic and generally having fun. New Years Resolution: Do the Hilltop Route in under twenty minutes.

I can do it in half an hour, it's thirty five kilometers of hard, twisty, sometimes gravel-strewn roads, with cows and sheep sometimes on the road, several cowstops, sheer drops down one side of the hill... It's one of the best playgrounds in the country. I'll be taking a film of it, look forward to it gents.
