Bad drive?

well my El-wire ps2 decided to stop working, the disk will not spin, its like the its not catching. it dose kind of a 1/8 turn then it just stops and gives me a disk read error. any idea?

did u put it all back together correctly?
stupid question, but really, are you sure you did?

like 99.99999% it worked, but progressively got worse.
