PANDORA BATTERY PROBLEMS WITH PSP SLIM
« on: December 31, 2007, 01:49:33 PM »
Well, I just made the magic memory card and battery using Hellcats program, made it on my psp fat. Tried it there, boots perfectly, put it into the slim and the screen just stays black (it does turn on asoon as the battery is in, the menu just dosnt show)

Is there anything I need to do to get it to boot on psp slim?

can i recommend using the UPMS installer cso

UPMS stands for Ultimate Pandora Memory Stick and it has all the stuff needed in it plus a bit more in order to run and do everything you may ever need to do to a psp via a pandora set up

i am not responsible for what i do or my advice

I installed that Ultimate Pandora Memory Stick, which also installs that despar~ thing

I tried it on psp fat, loads menu perfectly, tried it on PSP Slim and nothing

I read somewhere that the slim MUST BE 3.60, its 3.71, does that have anything to do with it not going?

After installing that, you still need to install the IPL to the memory card using CMD right?

if you use this one and got it from psp iso you might have to create your ipl loader again i did before it boots up (the first option when you boot it up then go down and do that one and it works for fat and slim and on the fat it went straight to 3.71 m33-2 for me

I had the same problem but i used a different magic stick maker and hard-modded my PSP slim battery.

google 14749_TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu.rar and you should find what i used.

I tried it a couple times, noticed the wifi and mem leds go nuts so I waited for them to stop and pressed X. The mem card led went nuts, I waited for it to stop completely. I turned it off then booted it up with another battery. Checked the system info and I had 3.71 m33-3 installed. The 1.5 kernel doesn't support the slim LCD which is why it doesn't display anything.

http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/about110289.html - check out step 10

So far I've done this on two PSP Slims and neither displayed anything on the screen but both worked fine.

I hope this helps.

IF you still need it, heres a link

http://youtube.com/watch?v=tpYBzq8GxLI

The files you used were for phat, the phat and slim have differant files
having a higher post count doesn't earn respect in the forums, quality posts do.

thanks,
