White screen of death

For some reason my psp screen has turned white. I can still sort of see my icons ,but the whole screen is white. I would be extremely greatful if anyone could help me.

Use the Search button, this kind of problem was discussed twice already, solution is getting a new screen.

If your in a cfw,go to the backgrounds and change it ;_;

If you can, go into flash0 and find a different 01-12.bmp and replace it, then tell me if that works...

I don't think it's the 01-12.bmp issue.  This happened to me and what I did was bridge a few resistors or fuses (don't really know which is which) on the actual ribbon of the LCD.  The part that is covered by a black piece of plasticy tape... sorry i can't be of more help

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is reflash, if you're on CFW, thats what i had to do when my screen died =]

Nope No Reflashing is Required
go to theme>colour>pick one
if it dosnt work you go back to the one you want press select and
it should work

The screen i got from dealextreme was exactly like this. Everything is white and you can barely see the icons. i have tried different backlights but, nothing works. :cry2:
