theres a tut by Kenshinffx on how to make the jigkick battery and magic memory stick here:
https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=8629.0
you do exactly what it says there and you do have to have the battery used on the psp phat, when you put it in your psp slim and turn it on the screen will be black, this is normal. then i believe you just press X and leave it to downgrade and it should turn off when its done.
correct me anyone if im wrong anyone

hope i helped  :winker:

an easier way is to make a pandora battery, as nemesis has provide, and convert your memory stick into the ultimate un bricker v3.  this contain the 3.71m33 firmware and will install it for you.

download it here.  http://exophase.com/files/psp/despertar_cementerio3.rar

NOTE: it contains a readme and you also need to download  1.50, 3.40 and 3.71 ofw.  and rename them to 150.pbp 340.pbp and 371.pbp respectively and place it in the root of your memory stick after you made pandora.  to access the memorystick, just turn on your psp with the ac adapter without the battery.

Sonys: The Foreign 40gb Black* and the red hot slim soon the green slim.  Nintendo: The revolutional White.
Past: A whole mess of american PSP and eventually Japanese imports.

Materialistic, HELL YA. =D
*i just notice the ps3 was foreign, and i bought it in america. O.O
