Regulations/Guidelines:
-The Banner size should not exceed 150 pixels in height by 480 pixels in width
-The Banner must be made by yourself, no stealing
-Only one submission per user is required
-Any inappropriate content in the graphic, will disqualify you immediately
-Your work must be submitted before the entry due date. Any later entries will not be accepted.
-You may not submit work that has been used in previous SOTW.
-You may change your entry as much as you would like before the due date.
-If you wish to change your entry, you should edit your original entry post.
-The entry must be related to the theme in some way
-After the entry date a new post will be made by one of the staff containing a poll, dirty play will not be tolerated.

i would think so photoshop is not really meant for creation but alterations and such

Of course you can, what i mean is that you cannot for example go on google and search "pixar sigs" and then take someone else's composition. You can use renders and stills made by other people. Lets say the theme was "Metal Slug" and i submitted this:


Even thou the composition is made up of actual metal slug sprites/renders which i could use yo make my own sig, i cannot enter the contest with work composed by another person in this case a user called "BakaXero"
