What's the difference between the "cool black" case from SHOCK and just an ordinary black case?

So far it only looks like that the SHOCK case just has a matte finish and the ordinary case is shiny.

Yeah I was just looking at it and just didn't like the way it looked.  I mean what's so cool about it's just a matte finish.  You can achieve just as good results just spray painting your DS.

Meh in terms of scratches, they probably won't be as noticable, plus you can trick your friends into saying that this DS is limited, due to it's paintjob :P but they'd have to be real idiots to think that clear buttons also came as a "limited edtion" XD

I managed to convince someone that the panda sticker on my DS was limited edition so I really wouldn't put it passed human stupidity.

LOL good job :P sell it for like 200 XD and give them like the sims 2 and tell them it's part of the bundle. Meh it's cool that the inside of this shell looks kind of like an oreo but then with clear buttons, so it adds a little uniqueness in it.
