Is This How To Use A Resistor?

yes its correct you can see one of mine which had a switch but everything should be the same and 10k ohms is 10 ohms

Shouldn't the resistor suppose to be on the positive kynar wire ? :confused:

not always but in this situation your meant to use a resistor correct me if i'm wrong my teacher sucks at teaching bout electronics,i usually try to pick up what i can from the net

the resistor only needs to be in between the led and the power source, it doesn't matter if it's on the positive or negative side.

yes its not critical to put the resistor on the positive wire. But it is good practice.

no it can be incredibly critical depending on the load of your circuit.
