Heheheh I love your tools... toe nail clippers
Haha wow you're right, damn cyber, did you sell your side cutter by accident on the last auction?
i didnt see it go forward it has all the buttons. any plans of improving the response time because from what I've seen it youd be dead. but sick concept and mod. just need some fine tuning.
Great idea.I'm currently awaiting my speech recognition kit (SR-06)I'm a costume maker (http://marcwolf.org) who also has a keen interst in animatronics and special effects. Something I have been wanting to do for a long time is to make my suit more realistic with wagging tail, moving ears, muzzle flaps and nose wrinkles.I use the PicAXE chip range to control the servo's and to handle the sequencing. My biggest difficulty has been with the input circuitry. I have experimented with hall effect switches in the gloves fingers and a magnet on the thumb but it is still too obvious that I am entering in commands of a kind.Speech recognition looks to be the solutions. With a series of whines, growl, howls and other sounds that would match my characters character I can use them to initiate the sequences. Thanks so much for putting up the tutorials etc and for letting me know that what I am trying is workableTake CareDave
getting old is mandatory growing up is optional.
cyberpyrot i need a soldering gun wat do you recommend (one from radioshack)
being both Cyber and I have done a lot of soldering, i think I can help you with this oneget a 15-25 watt one as cheap as you can, they all work the same. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has gone through 6-7 soldering irons tips.*When you solder stuff a lot, the gun itself actually melts away over time...
What a rip-off! That controller is way over priced! Getting sick of companies taking advantage the handicapped, there should be laws against such outrageous upselling. Sorry guys it just really bleeping pisses me off.
I have around 100 in this setup not including the controller
Well I'm sorry if you guys disagree, I believe there is cheaper/better solutions that just hasn't been thought of yet. Does controller even come with switches/buttons or just analog sticks? Falconheart, I am working on similar design of the switchblade of my own. I actually just finished my RCA switch board last night, I still have hook wires up to my 4x 5-way switches but that parts easy. I did it for $85 and It was my 1st try, it doesn't look to fancy or clean but I or anyone else on here can build it cleaner. I actually plan on building it again but nicer and with led's and rapid fire since I cant push very well. If your interested I can help you build 1 like mine or work with another am member to build you a controller. all would ask from you is to pay for the controller, the switches and any mods such as leds or rapid fire. This should not cost anymore than $50-$65, i will cover the cost of rca wires, rca plugs, project box and materials. And I'm sure anyone else on am would do the same.oh on a side not. falcon are you clark?
yea lol probably. thats what toad was saying....how are u able to double post?
