sorry about bringing up old topic but the old boards available for this were quite large, and laggy. maybe this will improve on that. Very helpful mod for the handicapped gamer.

What a rip-off! That controller is way over priced! Getting sick of companies taking advantage the handicapped, there should be laws against such outrageous upselling. Sorry guys it just really bleeping pisses me off.

Are you talking about the link I posted? if so, let me explain. I'm a disabled gamer and this was the CHEAPEST solution I found I paid $2,000 for a controller with less, that was a ripoff at least $300 is closer to fair. tbh I want a switch adapted controller like the Adroit Switchblade, with a vr option. Y'know

the work involved in that is probably close to what I would sell it for. as much as I hate eviel controllers....I would probably price a mod of that sorts in the $300-400 range. there is atleast $100 in parts, and a good 25-30 hrs worth of labor, then you have to make some money.

I could do this, Is this something you would want? How would you as a disabled gamer revise this design to work better for you? I have made a few mods for disabled gamers, and continue to do so in my spare time. I will be looking for a new project in a few months. If we can raise the money for the materials I could possibly donate my time and effort to the cause.

[admin] NOTE to all mods: bumping old topics, adding irrelevant spam is not acceptable, adding info to an old topic to inquire about the work or to add to the thread is fine, certainly in this area. please try to keep an op[en mind to the special needs of the members who use this section of the forum and note that the info they are looking for is not as readily available such as our other mods/areas of the forum. thanks, MM [/admin]

Well I'm sorry if you guys disagree, I believe there is cheaper/better solutions that just hasn't been thought of yet. Does controller even come with switches/buttons or just analog sticks?

Falconheart, I am working on similar design of the switchblade of my own. I actually just finished my RCA switch board last night, I still have hook wires up to my 4x 5-way switches but that parts easy. I did it for $85 and It was my 1st try, it doesn't look to fancy or clean but I or anyone else on here can build it cleaner. I actually plan on building it again but nicer and with led's and rapid fire since I cant push very well. If your interested I can help you build 1 like mine or work with another am member to build you a controller. all would ask from you is to pay for the controller, the switches and any mods such as leds or rapid fire. This should not cost anymore than $50-$65, i will cover the cost of rca wires, rca plugs, project box and materials. And I'm sure anyone else on am would do the same.

oh on a side not. falcon are you clark?

I'm not Clark, My name's Ken. You and moddedmatt both have great ideas, but ideally I'd go for something with a voice recognition option as well as switches and analog sticks seperate from the project box that I could mount anywhere, I'd also go for adjustable tension on the analogs. also toggle/turbo is a real draw for me, I have 0 modding experience, I just pick up ideas from around the web.
