Broken PSP
« on: January 30, 2008, 01:50:36 PM »
I bought a bricked psp. It looks as though it's been dropped a couple of times.
When it powers on the umd laser moves back and forth and the lens adjusts.
I used the DC v4 on it and got it to 3.80 m33-5 but when I went to install the 1.50 add on it froze up.
I tries running iso's and they froze on the screen that says psp.
PS1 eboots froze on the caution text.
So I tried replacing the UMD drive. Twice.
I used the old magic memory stick and downgraded to 1.50 and ran the ky exploit then upgraded to 3.52 m33.
Same results.
I would assume this means there is a problem with the mobo but I don't know what it is exactly.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
