LCD Problem Plz Help Me!!!

  :beg:Plz help or any info on fixing my lcd, me and my bro tried removing it from his PSP(TA-79 very old) we didnt know how to remove the huge cable, so we got a screwdriver and poked at the brown part not the opening black clip, some of the brown cable was folded ( very small ammount).We then took the small cable with ease (opened correctly). we tried putting it back, then powered up the PSP and the LCD wouldnt light up, my bro said it worked when he put it back before, i then got a flashlight and pointed it at the LCD when PSP was on, u can barely see the icons on the screen. B4 we put it back we tested power with some power tester (Screwdriver looking thing with light to see if there is power) to check for the LED power, when we tried both the power and charging light came up, idk if we might have messed up the LCD, plz help me my bro is mad but the PSP was only 30 dollars. When the PSP is turned on the LCD has very low brightness, but u can hear sound and everything, only way u can BARELY see that the LCD works is if u point a flashlight and we can barely see the icons, plz help, if its not fixable then ill sell it for 50 dollars.

its just the backlight check the connections again and if its all connected it may be a short and you would have to solder a fuse if blew

Thanx for the info but idk if its all the way in, but me and my bro pushed really hard all the way in but when its turned on we only hear the sound, and if we tilt the PSP we can just barely see the icons on the screen. Oh and when we push the small LCD cable in a very very very small part of it is just out, im probably gonna just get rid of it for 30-50 dollars on ebay. The only thing wrong with it is the LCD and it cant play UMD's but we its got CFW 3.90M33 on it so we play ISO's, u think it can be fixed or do u think i can get 40 bucks for it?

No none of them are broken we just tried to take the screen out and it came out fine, then we tried putting it back with just our hands no screwdrivers or anything, and we turned it on, we hear sound but very very very low brightness, is it a fuse or is it just not connected correctly?

If i cant get it to work by saturday, i will sell for 40 -50 dollars if interested (Console only)

ok man ill get a pic of it, and its in alright shape i guess, i think its time for a new faceplate, my bro's friend sold it to him he didnt take good care of it, the edges of the faceplate are beaten, i guess that explains the UMD problems but yeah if u can come up with $45 bucks i will definetly sell it to u, i feel sad for my bro cuz i persuaded him to open the PSP, alright let me open it right now in 30 min so stay on, im doin some HW from school at the moment (all most done)

LoL, i hate when these things happen, now my bro is mad at me, i kinda got a little scared on the future projects with putting LED's on the triggers, so i think ima take it easy for now, i told my bro, "U learn from ur mistakes, ims sorry about what happen"
if u want to buy it i will need to put the original Flash 0 back on their or if u have pandoras battery already ill just send it to u. My bro is like " who do u think is going to buy it chris, its broken" i was like hmm ebay!!!. lol

thnx for the link, but what was the problem with it, was it the LCD or the motherboard and ima get rid of it ima buy a slim for my bro, he deserves it

so i have solder it the 2 things so they bridge again, damn have never soldered b4 my older bro knows how but he's busy with school. i dont got time for this, so ill just sell on ebay and see how much i get for it, thnx for ur help man really appreciate it, im going to sleep, even though my bro's PSP got messed up, u made my day better thnx again man.
