Kynar vs. Magnet wire
« on: February 11, 2008, 01:10:08 PM »
I read from a few sites that magnet wire is the best to use for PSP mods and such, and some even said NOT to use kynar at all...but from this site, and some others, it seems that Kynar wire is best....what are the main reasons to choose Kynar over magnet wire???

Use kynar when available, it's relatively easy to strip (I use my finger nails) and it's also insulated.

Just remember the following when you're buying your wires: the larger the wire guage, the THINNER the wire is.

This means that a 30 gauge kynar will be thinner then a 5 gauge one.
