Help with reading a schematic

I need help because I have no idea what some of these symbols mean...  :beg: ... I need to hook my mp3 player to a lm386 audio amp for school...

F is usually the symbol for Farad, meaning a capacitor...

the circle that is at Vin and the other V (can't make out what it is) are your input voltages.

one would be power needed fro the chip and the amplification and the other is going to be you music input.

the 10k with a arrow pointing to it is a potentiometer(volume).

and the two sets of two lines are capacitors

the one hooked to the resistor is a filter cap

and the one hooked to the speaker is a coupling cap

and the crazy U means micro. so one is 250 micro farads and the other is .05 micro farads
