register there and they send you over sample ic's,you can get up to 4 per order,this is great for ppl (like me) who can't buy these locally
when you register search lm386n-1 (basically the  exact same as the lm386...scratch that they're the exact same)
and click the little sample button to the right then you can select a quantity,you'll have your amps in a few weeks so be patient but hey!theyre free!
DO NOT REGISTER WITH A GENERIC EMAIL LIKE HOTMAIL OR YOU HAVE TO PAY!

nice find thanx although i just found out maplin sell them and i live about 20 mins from one but i aint gonna say no to free stuff

you can also get other very rare and useful ic's off there for mods on other consoles or even the psp itself

tibor register with a non generic website like ur mobile phone network or a website email and it is free i got 4 free lm386n-1's from these guys without paying anything

i dont know man, maybe they changed it or something but some stuff i can get samples for free and for other samples (also the lm-386) they want 8 bucks for shipping :cry2:

If you want free stuff(electronics components), first find a manufacturer of the part. Most manufacturers offer samples on their websites. Don't be greedy, they'll ship you samples for free, but if you do it too much they'll stop offering free samples.  The samples are really nice when you have to do a project for school that you have to fund yourself

how long does shipping take, and do you have to pay for it? at radioshack they are only like $1.50.

i get mine from radio shack in the drawer that says (ic's/micro controlers) in the back of the store plus they can usaly order anything u want if u ask i also tend to spend lots of money there so they dont mind
