A Pandora's Battery is a battery that boots up the psp in Service Mode. It like makes the psp read the memory stick. Like when you turn on your computer, and press F10, then you go to setting and put boot order. It just boots your memory stick and if you made a Magic Memory Stick (MMS) then you are able to mod the psp to a custom firmware.
