sound mod

i wired leds not 603s but normal leds the smaller ones directly to my speaker termanals do i need my lm386 for them to work like that

Also where is the best point to get voltage from without removeing mobo i dont want to solder directly to board.

Dude please don't double post let alone triple post :nono: Have you read the tutorial completely? If you had it would tell you where to find the 5volt power source from. Thankfully you only need to solder to the power board and not the MB. Please read the forum rules when you have some time if you haven’t already…. :beg:

ya sorry. im useing this tut https://www.acidmods.com/Wiki/tiki-index.php?page=PSP%20Sound%20Mod and it says solder to the mobo.but im scared lol. power boad 5 volt point link or pic would be nice.sry this is my first hard mod .

ok thanks. on last question in the tut ground is actualy the negitive led wire right and do i NEED to ground as i dont wana solder the switch

so i was playing with my lm386 and fryed it before i tryed to use it for a sound mod and i wired it up but when i played music insted of my trigger leds being sound reactive my power led was lol.
