ok even phen noted this and i agree more people are leaving acidmods faster then they sign up and most people make 1 topic and never return ... phen also stated acidmods has started to become boring because nuthing exciting has happend lately ... COME GUYS (and girls)

If we handed out free psps if people start joining and going over 100 posts

I will start helping the site, Im going to try to advertise this site to people, Print some hand outs, and give them away, In fact Im going to start making flyers right now!!!

okay the flyer thing is good, but...the 100 post thing is not, your going to see activity increase, but it will be spam in old topics to juice post count

u do realize that its the middle of the school year so ppl are less interested in modding and more into school

And alot of people are busier at school and such with not a lot of time for modding right now. You can't just pull a mod out of your ass, it take time, which people are lacking.

yeh i think a lot of our members have reached the age of the important years in school like college and uni and the last year or 2 at high school whith lots of important exams and im sure a lot who have left school are looking for jobs. i think people just need to get settled down with life then stuff will start up again. plus we need a new handheld console to spark new ideas so everyone get on the phone to nintendo and sony.

last year i joined in april close to the end of the year, and enjoyed summer

i remember there was a lot of activity then...both here and the psp world..like dax 'quitting'

exact same thing with me, got SATS exams in may so gotta be working hard even though it aint as important as other exams, it still decides what set class were gonna be for GCSE =O

Well i've got A LOT on my plate considering all aspects of my life and how to improve and progress it hwoever I don't have enough time for it all. When was the last time I produced any art work? When was the last time I had time to plan a scam? Seriously everythign is soo rosied right now and i dont hae time for anythign other than the alleged human burnouts.... robin will understand XD

Maybe because you get bans or warnings alot. People dont even post anymore. My thread requesting a pic of myspace on ipod touch hasnt been replied.

I am on the comp when i get home from school to when i go to sleep... i have time its just that theres nothing to do here

Yeah I had a post bout painting a phat that got left in the dust, while one made up for buttons was answered :P. Naw but seriously, I check the sections I like to look at, and sometimes they don't get replied for hours, at some points, a day or so. Members leaving, although happens here and there with every forum, is a bit different here. AM has ALOT of members, just not any real active ones. Probably less then 200 are active out of the THOUSANDS, and even the few that get active have left (Slimb), and some have been banned (sony, edhel). If anything, I suggest forums sweeps. I've been asking for those for a while, but mainly to Indy so I can annoy him :P j/k. If you do that, and start advertising AM more, then we should really start getting members. Besides it's probably better not to always show new mods immediately. If anything, try to make a pattern on when you show mods (if you make like 5 mods a week or something). That way, everyone has something new to see and you have new stuff to show, and then the site can be more interesting to others

Well, just so yall know.... I'm still here, I just havent had much time to do any new and innovative mods. When I do something worth showing you all, you'll see it. heh. I check the site every day, but my post count is starting to drop cause i never say anything anymore. Im still here though!

well i have been doing loads of modding stuff but acidmods has been very quite so not posted much although i read all the new stuff everyday there hasnt been any news for me to post nothing worthwhile has happened really in the gaming scene for ages now the last thing was go messenger and tht wasnt a big thing summer will be busy again so no worries butim always here even wen im workin lol

Yeah, they'll get 200$ off their next carpet removal :P, or no wait, $5 off their next purchase of toner ink XD lmao. We shouldn't use incentives to get members to post here. We should just show reasons why, motivate, and demonstrate so that members will join out of free will and out of interest, and not out of offers :P.
