kidding my over all opinion of HP's isn't very good because the one im using is a hunk of crap. the only major issue ive seen is lots of HDD failures. and a few GPU failures. but over all they run fine. just make sure you get the warranty.

damn i cant decide which i should get because the desktop im getting is way better than the laptop and cheaper while i want someing thats portable so i dont know whcich to decide?

my friend has this and took a crap on it, trust my opinion dont get it, it looks good, yet feels like a loosened hunk of plastic. build a computer with mino-atx case and its portable, and way cheaper.

if u want one of those get the first one, lenovo makes decent pc's and they are upgradable, the gateway will die on u(once again personal experience) the only thing is the processor speed is low but that is always changeable, lenovo is great

well i decided to go with a dell inspirion 530. this will be my first dell. for the fam itll be the second. im paying with my own money so yea. total with tax and shipping 530 good price!well specs for my dell are im gonna upgrade my graphics card, keyboard and mouse later on. my monitor will be my 19" sony crt monitor( yo just found out it doesnt even work no more after 2 years) oh well i have a 52" samsung hdtv with vga port. play cs on that big mofo lol. my keyboard and mouse are gonna be wireless oh and my pc will be wireless too

omg before u order it make sure u get a pci-e grafix's card otherwise theyl stick u with no pci-e and only pci slots, if it takes to get the cheapest get the cheapest otherwise theyll screw u over

8300 isnt for gaming either, thats for decoding DVD's etc.

you'll want an 8600 minimum unless you wanna play Quake and Doom lol

sorry bad and good news you guys. well good news is i hooked up my current comp to my tv and it WORKS! with the vga port and its so crisp and clean. bad news is i cant get that awsome quad core comp no more total is now 657 and i only have 500 also the special deal on the quad core ends on tuesday and i know damn well i cant get 200 in 3 days. lol. so yea and now i have to get this setup
