hey i am planning to move to america in the next few years so was wondering if you guys could give any suggestions on what state to move to. give me some good reasons like advantageous laws or prices for stuff, and general reasons for me to move there.

or give me reasons not to move there

come to Minnesota! were just the right size you have big city life if you want it and we have the country life if that suets you better. we get every kind of weather that is on the globe so we can please all in that department. plenty of work with over 50 fortune 500 company's having there cooperate headquarters based hear. pulse you have

minnesota has one of the best public school systems. also its rated as one of the most friendly and wealthier states.

its a small calm state that is nice simple and quiet, but still has big life in the good cities

Yes, the netherlands.... isn't bubble gum banned there? I forgot if it was there or if it was somewhere else. Anyway I'm out of bad things to say about different lands, so I say just watch bowling for columbine, it will give you a different view on the USA and probably a few other places, but mainly USA. Plus Bush is leaving in a bit, and that a-hole is leaving soo many privates in Iraq, but yeah he will be gone soon anyway.

Oregon has lots of trees and green...outdoorsman type of spot...and SAND DUNES....and did I forget to mention no taxes on sales or food etc.

im not just moving for the weather im moving becuase i like the atmospher over there everyone apart from NYC seems to be very friendly all the time. i also suffer from SAD so moving to a warmer climate with more defind seasons would help that out a lot. and i am just fed up of the UK and of all the takes and laws etc over here. So my plan is to buy a small flat here after uni or whilst in uni to give me a house in the UK to come back to and to live in america most of the time and to bank in the camens. so then i get the tax benifit of off shore banking, the health benifits of the uk as i would go back when i am ill and i would have the living expenses benefits of america. as my plan is to start up my own company after uni or whilst in uni and have it all or mainly internet based so that it doesnt matter where i live as long as i have an internet connection.

anyway keep the suggestions comming

p.s. i have seen BFC and that basically means that my kids are getting home or private schooled
