Does this come off on the psp ribbon cable?
« on: March 20, 2008, 01:26:19 PM »
Hey, I was just wondering before I install this.  I am putting on a PSP R-Key Cable ribbon and I was wondering if i take this stuff on the edges off cause it is not on my old cable and I don't know if it is some kind of rubber contact or something.
It's only on one side of it.  And can i use a screwdriver to take it off or will that damage the cable?

i wouldn't think so leave them on and see if it works if it doesn't you can always take them off, whereas if you took them off and it didn't work then you cant put them back on

Well I ended up taking them off, the reason be is that they were off set on the ribbon and I had to place them on correctly or it would not plug in.  It works now and my PSP led's are back on.
