new switch position idea topic #2

a long long time ago i had a theory of a new switch position idea seen in this topic:

now just as a little confirmation you can use a dip switch if cut to the appropiate size, also due to the space where the infrared cover is you can only have one dip switch. more good news is that you don't have to de-solder the infrared device off the motherboard if you dont want to as it just about fits in there. here are some pics, my switch isnt fully fitted in the position i would keep it so it may look out of shape or not neat but can easily be neat etc lol.









if anyone is wondering why im telling you lot this, is because im not good at dremeling or using exacto knife so i was thinking a while back somewhere new to put a switch where i wouldnt have to dremel. i forgot about this until now when i got the dip switches and is perfect for someone like me whos not good at dremeling or doesnt want to. unless you use the infrared for something then this is may not be the switch postition for you, but if you dont, then go ahead if want!

there is some nice space when u do the usb charge mod
and remove the yellow AC thing

you can easily fit a wifi switch in there

if you solder the wires properly onto the switch den you can keep the device on the motherboard, but im not sure how much less the IR may work if the switch is in the way because i never use IR, try it if you want see what the results are

yeah i was thinking of putting my switches right were the AC goes cuz i dnt need since i got the usb charge....but that is a good spot NEMESIS if you dnt use IR wat ever it is called you know,...
