what site?? :dntknw:

i dont think it makes a difference if i bridge it cuz when we put the backlight wire were it goes and its touching the right wires or those little pines watever you call them, and we turn on the psp the back light doesn't turn on but you can kinda see the screen

Before you bridge any fuses, try testing the pins on the connector to see if you are getting any current. This way you can determine whether the problem is in your back light or mobo.

Pin#

1:----Power-

2:----NC

3:----NC

4:----Power+

Dude the clamp is broken off, but it doesnt matter. All you do is plug the backlight ribbon in, and then tape it with electrical tape so it doesnt fall out. The clamp holds it there, so an alternative is tape.

What you need to do is bridge the fuse, find the fuse and drop a big blob of solder on it. The screen isnt damaged, so you dont need a new one.
having a higher post count doesn't earn respect in the forums, quality posts do.

thanks,

thats the same thing i was thinking of doing but it dosent turn on any way if you connect the ribbon

maybe he scratched the mobo right behind the clamp he broke :dntknw:

Blizzard, look, he is a new guy to this, he probly has nothing to test out current wit. try i22 foosh's idea, tape it. if you didnt tape it before, if probly falls out when you put LCD all the way on. if not, you can always solder it on. if that doesnt work, your mobo is messed up.
