here is the alexa toolbar not onle does it help AcidMods get noticed the more people use it the bigger we get.. It also gives you statistics on any sites you visit..

alexa rankings are based on the amount of people who visit a site with the toolbar..We used to be ranked higher then llama.com but they passed us whn the linked to the alexa tool bar on there site..

i have a feeling if you click that link in cybers post, theres a counter that counts how many people have went to that page from this one

Yeah, but what I was asking is if now that i have the alexa toolbar for firefox, does it count it everytime I go to acidmods, or is it daily ranked...

im not sure. I think it take an avrage of all people using the tool bar who visits all sites.

I would be willing to download it, but I read the privacy policy...this was part of it:

If I am wrong please correct me, but that kind of sounds like spyware. Couldn't they get your bank account numbers and junk when you type it in? And passwords? I don't know that they would do that, but I don't want to take a chance

If no one else has had problems with it, I guess I'll try it out....for Acidmods

they cant take data from a secure site look for the little lock in the bottom of your browser befor you use your CC#

but lots of spyware contain keyloggers and weither ur on a secure site or not every keystroke is recorded i doubt that is the case here but be carefull and rember ur never really safe and thats the reality of it so  the world do what you want when you want

i wasnt trying to to be like that thats why at the end i said  the world do what you want when you want i was just pointing out that by dowloading any software it is posible for someone to get ur info so watch out for that stuff

i know this topic is old, but all about how we want to get to be a bigger site, i  can bet a big reason we arent is because of google:
Type in:

"psp modding"- acidmods isnt in the first 10 pages, and lamma is the 7th posted
"acidmod" - just missing the "s" still, nowhere in site. it isnt until you type in "acidmods" that we come up.

LLamma screwed us over when we were a younger site, basically they stole a manufacturer away from us when we started doing jewels.  I personally don't like them anyways...

 that is part of the privacy police, the toolbar is probalby trying to store your password, but your security is picking it up and not allowing it.

Yea thats what i was thinking But I don't Put any real security cept TNT (cant remember where i got it but it can find Anything on your pc& if you dont know what your Doing/looking for you could really Mess up your Rig ). That works Beast. I mean I have a firewall.

Alexa is a World wide standard for tracking Site statistics the dada it is collecting is how many people go to any given site to provide real time trafic details. Since Alexa is the number one site companies trust to get site statistics I doubt they would risk being shut down for doind mischievious things..
