ir on/off

ok im looking for a small ir cam and a ir led that im going to use for a mod. i dont no wut i can use though that cheap, and sugjestions.

btw i mean like a tv ir cam and the ir led in the remote, i guess im not worried about the led, i just need a cheap ir cam

use a wii remote and the sensor bar. the camera is in the wiimote, and the sensor bar is just IR Leds

yea, i thought of that, just one problem, i dont know how i will make the senser bar make the cam turn of or w/e
