hey everyone, im new here(as you can see by my post count).  but my ipod broke, replacing the Hard Drive should make it work again, but i now have a zune, so.... my question is... as someone who is new to modding any suggetions on what else i could do to it? i just kinda want to experiment and get more into modding.

Are you sure your hard drive is broken (like click of death broken)? Because if it just needs to be formatted you can do what I did and get a connector to hook it up to your computer via usb and poof, you've got a new external harddrive.

As for the other components, if you follow my above link, I'm trying to do the same thing, so hopefully my question will get answered

yeah, im sure its the hard drive, i should be getting the new one today in the mail, any second now,
but what i really want to do is put a clear panel on it, and then add somr green leds like Foofoo did, but thats probably really hard.
