Get the eVGA 790i. It's cheaper and you can go SLI later if you want.

Actually, I may end up using THIS case instead. Not sure yet. And what do you mean just plug in the antenna? The mobo comes with wireless capabilities? Damnit noah find me that mobo!

Get the eVGA 790i. It's cheaper and you can go SLI later if you want.

Graphics card? No way, I'm keeping this one :D

Yeah, get an 8800 series card (mainly price, if you can afford, go 9800GTX, as the card is much more powerful, but only crisis uses it) Asus SLi Mobo, Intel Dual Or Quad Core, One WD Raptor, One Normal Hdd.

So...
Graphics card
Raptor

Are you saying it's good for putting my OS on or for games files etc? Because, well, I plan on triple or quad booting, and a 150gb hard drive is definitely not gonna work for that.
Oh, and how dangerous is OC'ing?I'd rather not kill something after the first few days or something.

EDIT:
New case:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3424759&CatId=1510

EDIT2:
I think I've found the best mobo for me!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131284
It's gor 6 SATA ports too :D it's perfect! It uses DDR2, which will save me money. The other MBs I looked at used DDR3...

:D

yes, you put your OS's, Programs and Games on the Raptor, then have a normal 7,200rpm drive for files, and stuff which you dont need to load fast.

Are you insane! An OS is around 5Gb Total, Vista is like 12Gb, Xp and OS X 5Gb, Linux 3Gb>

So, unless you want to install 5 copies of Vista, CS3 Master Collection and about 45 Games + Then the 150Gb Raptor Is Fine, you can always add more later if space is an issue.

Actually, RTS's are one of the hardest games to run, Supreme Commander will even challange an 8800 at full.

I'm still stuck between the 8800 and the 9800. It depends on how much money I can get. I'm probable not going to be able to get this done until next christmas because half of all my money earned has to go into the bank. Moms rules. It sucks, but I'm still going for this, not matter what.

Well yeah, i know that you have to work to get money.. The only ways to get money in life are to inherit, to steal, to work, and to profit (real estate etc..) but i wanted to know what kind of work. I guess im just getting on the bad sides of people :|

Kinda. And I'm going to GET A JOB and I help around with family, do chores, mow some lawns, mowing my grandparents lawn all summer got me over $1000 and like like 25% had ALREADY gone into the bank. And they raised my pay up $10 so I'll get more.

Happy?

www.newegg.com is your friend, seriously.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3424759&CatId=1510             179.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144200            159.99

I trust Newegg more then tigerdirect, to be honest.

You forgot about the CPU cooler!  Get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835154001
Overclocking isn't dangerous as long as you have good cooling. Right now I am running an Core 2 Duo E6600 overclocked to 3.6GHz with 2GB of OCZ SLI RAM, EVGA 680i motherboard, and an XFX 8800GT. After overclocking, my temps just went up a little.

The E6600 is one of the most OC'able CPU's.

And whilst he did forget it, the CPU comes with an Intel one, which is a little noisy, but does its job well.

Also i would go for an Arctic Freezer 7, as even though the Tuniq Tower is the best, its been known to severly damage mobo's and CPU's because of its Weight.

That processor is OEM so it does not come with a cooler. It even says in big red words on the tigerdirect page.
