Hey guys i thought it would be kwl and a bit of fun if people were to post designs they had for an ipod touch or an iphone see who can be the most creative etc

here are templates for you to work with to do the designs on so that we can see them

yeh its fully blown images that you would get done with a laser engraver.

I'm on my itouch ATM I'll post my designs 2moz, I need to see of ken can get them into windows meta file unless I can upgrade the software...

All my designs can be adjusted for an iPhone or other iPod, and minor adjustments such as text can be added.

where can i ingrave an iphone or ithouch if i want?

and can i just sandblast it?, cause my frand does it on cars and can do like this:

he can only do a few lines of text but would sanblast work?

nah you need to get it laser etched - some jewelry company's can do it and some other companys may be able to there are also some specialist engravers just google iphone engraving and i guess some will pop up

nope as the sand would ruin the elecrics

Sandblasting is for removing paint and rust etc. of cars and other large non electrical devices.

The Sand creates alot of static, static kills electronics.
Sand Blasting is no where near accurate, you would be able to write anything with it at say spraycan size, let alone on an iPhone.

Wow...  Some people still use sand blasting for windows?  Kind of archaic...  I mean the acid etching is just as permanent and a lot easier...  That might be an answer, you could acid etch it in...
