Need wiring help

Im new at this been looking around for a tutorial but cant find one that shows pictures still i want to do the trigger mod and also add to leds to the umd door im using blue leds what resistor would i need for 4 blue leds and how would i wire it all up so everything works with the hold swith any digrams that show how to do this

well if your using the 5vlt power source on the mobo u need a 10 ohm (not 10k ohm) and for wiring, i believe the answer is to wire in parralel. (i think)

so just wire all the leds together and one 10 ohm resister would be fine for 4 blue leds ima wire it to the hold switch board is that 5 volt

and is this the right resitor

yes right resistor but so you know in ur circut you have to have resistor before the positives on leds

so right off the hold board i add the resistor and then from there the power wire to the leds is that right

so is the 10 ohm resistor good for the four blue leds because i used a resistor calculator and it says to go with a 22 ohm

yes you must wire them in paralell so it doubles the current if you wire in series the psp wont be able to surply enough voltage :tup:

 :nono: u dnt know wat parallel is uhh u better look it up on google on what it is..or wait here a pic i found google taht should help on what parallel is..

ignor the Rs that were u should stick the LED lights and the resistor attaches to the positve before u start the parallel.. hope that helps
