kind of like the joystick on the dpad or X,O,[],^

has already been thought of

for using it instead of the umd door for the sound + and -

but the circle has a certain chip which sends out data so you would need to program your psp to read it

for example when ina racing game you push the accelerate button half way down you slowly accel. all the way down, faster. where digital is just on or off.
