I removed the Pic because it had your personal information on it, but from what I saw you can get similar quality for less money,  the only thing I would spend a lot on is the subwoofers, which looks like a good deal with the Rockfords

I wouldn't hook the amp to the door or deck speakers. alot of cars have stock amps in them now and run on 8 ohm speakers so 4 ohms are more efficient which will give you a better sound so if you have subs you can still hear the words. what kind of amp do you have(wattage and ohms) and is it bridgable?

that amp will run at 2 amps so if you are getting 2 subs buy 2 4 ohm subs and bridge them together to the amp and it will then run the amp at 2 ohms with max power to both speakers. if one sub get a 2 ohm and bridge it alone. if you need help with the bridge let me know or ask your local shop.

I use crutchfield for all my builds, which I've done about 20 of in the past school year, mostly for the electronics kids after they build their subwoofers in class...
For one thing I would 110 percent recommend getting a new head unit (deck, receiver whatever you wanna call it)
For a car your size I would recommend anything between 200-250 watts RMS
Don't bother with the tweeters in the front, they are usually expensive to replace and don't add that much to the overall sound quality of the car
I myself prefer Polk and Sony for the 5 and a quarters and 6 by 9's, and Rockfords make for great subwoofers *a must for a REALLY good sound system*
Whatever you choose, make sure you look for speakers that can handle AT LEAST 60 watts RMS if you want to really crank up the sound, especially with a higher powered head unit.

memphis audio also makes some realy good subs, and crutchfield is cool but sometimes they overcharge a lil bit and you might be able to find the same stuff cheaper if you shop around a lil

are you using the stock radio? if so you can get an interface that will allow you to convert the reg. speaker wire to rca jacks and you won't need to bypass the factory amp if it has one. http://www.modifiedlife.com/1998-chrysler-cirrus-car-radio-stereo-wiring-diagram/ this page gives you the color of each wire and what it does. it says there is no factory amp so you can use the antenea trigger wire to power on the new amp(that would be the remote to the amp). hope that helps.

what a antinea trigger
i knopw what teh intena is but a trigger
i wouldnt hook it up there simply beacuse my radio dosnt get  :censored: for reception now and onl;y one channel if my door is open lol
so im gonna try a new head deck
and i want a new amp because well i can run the speakers better with a amp in general than a 8 watt radio
it will put out distortion i bet

the antenea trigger has nothing to do with reception, it signals the power antenea (motorized) to move when the radio turns on. that is the best way to hook it up to a stock radio. if you buy a new head unit that will simplify everything just save yourself a headache and buy the factory wire harness adapter and you will probably need an antenea adapter as well because american cars have a diffferent size. you can get both at circuit city.

I would recommend ten million percent to upgrade the radio, as it can make the car sound 10 times better with just the stock speakers...

thats funny because my intena dosnt go up and down its just sits there in one spot
and the only reason why i dont wanna upgrade my stero deck is because i like my anolog stick fader
its has a bass and treble and then i can adjust where the souuund comes from its a rotating stick
so i wish i couuld keep that instead of having to click this then click that and do this just to move teh base
but im pritty sure im screwed with that
im thinkin about gettin teh one with the bluetooth so i can use my phone in teh car
ey reaper and teepee can ya show mne some cool radio decks that can pick up fm good
and thats under 200 lol

and i still need a amp lol
btw the wiring chart helped dood
thank a bunch man

If you buy a new deck it will have an amp built in, unless you are adding a subwoofer box, in which case you would need pre-amp RCA outputs on the deck in the first place, which most factory radios won't have...

Yes the Red and White ones work as sound
A new deck will have outputs for a subwoofer and will act as an amp to all the speakers already in/being replaced in your car, as well as make the whole thing sound 100 times better

if you get the interface I mentioned earlier you can convert you stock speaker wire to rca jacks and you antenea might not move but the wire should be there because the manufacturers use the same wiring harness for all similar vehicles so if iw was an option on yhat model then you have the wire and that diagram says it was an option so if you want to keep the stock radio you can. and either way reaper is right, a new stereo will have a built in amp but you factory radio has one to. and most radios, stock or aftermarket, are about 45-50 watts peak per channel so thats like a 180-200 watt amp.

hmm so i guess i might just get me a new car deck
so i need to turn my old speaker wire into rca cables
or can i do it by wire and screw/ wire clamp
or does that all depend on the deck i get

and if i do have to replace them it shouldnt be that hard right?
i can get the new rca cables an tir em to th old wireas and pull at the radio deck untill they appear?

a new deck would have the female end for rca jacks to plug into, but you only use them to wire an amp. if you get a new deck, buy the factory wireharness adapter so you don't need to cut the cars harness and when you wire it to the radio you just plug it in to the stock harness. if you aren't going to use an external amp you don't need to worry about rca jacks. you can use the stock wires, which is the easiest wayand no running new wires, unless your using subs. if no subs save your money and don't buy the amp.

actually, you can just turn the stock speaker cables into a universal adapter (cheap ass hell but they do what they need) and you won't have to worry about any wiring

looks cool but I'd recomend finding one with usb in. you can put music onto a flash drive, psp, ormp3 player and it will charge while you listen. it comes in handy I have around 800 songs on my flash drive and don't have any cds in my car to get ruined, stolen or take up space.

the radio I have uses a standard size usb plug in in the back and came with an extention cable so you can plug the psp usb to it or any other for that matter
