vmware can run any vista (not sure on 64 bit edition of ultimate)
tested on XP and (not sure why but anyway) vista, thats right vista from within vista
yes vmware can run any
but never mind, i figure screw it, its not that great and i modified xp to look like it anyway
it will be slow using vmwares virtualization as your running 2 OS's at once our running osx and then in the vmware app your running vista thats why its slow 2 resource hungry OS's. put vista on using bootcamp and you will see that it runs at normal speed
well i expected and didnt expect it to be slow...others said it worked fine (cause of sp1???)
but oh well, im only bootcamping xp :P didnt wana upgrade to vista w/ that and hassle so i thought i'd virtualize which ended up sucking...
ok i found out the issue
my freind who gave it to me in the first place told me it was all the ultimate bloatware, so i had him fork over his spare of home basic, installed
and it runs just fine
everything seems to work, even sound now, all i need to do is update to sp1 and it should be a bit better (right?)
kthx
