nice pc pspmodder i like it.

but im going a different route im designing my own case from an old one. i still a lot of work left no near done yet. keep in mind the whole getting an image in the post is new to me soooo i might do it wrong. is there a easyer way then the imageshack site?

I like it!!! I use photo bucket to upload my photos. Try down sizing your pics before you upload them then they will come up like mine. I will put your pics up with mine!!! Keep posting pics!

What is that case made of Aluminum or steel? And you used a grinder to make the swirls right? DId you make that case or buy it? I love it!!!

i made the case and i used an cordless drill attachment. it was like a metal brush. and i think it is steel at least it feels like it is. but i dont know what to do with the front face plate. i do have some metal contact paper. but i dont want it to look cheap. ohhh and should i clear cote the who.e thing like even the metal swirl or not?

By the looks of the metal I would say it is aluminum, Is it heavy or really light? If it is really light it will most likely be aluminum, and due to the extreme chromeish look I would say it is aluminum, If it is heavy it will probably be steel, and in that case steel will rust when it is bare ( the way you have it now, ground down) so you might have to. Sanded steel has this bad habbit of rusting. After I went to school for front end, I had add some body experience to round myself out. After working in a body shop for 6 month sanded metal lost its appeal to me. (unless its machined and the swirls are exactly the same distance apart. When you move it catches the light and looks like a hologram.) How deep were the scratches the wire left?

actually i thot of somehthing to do with the front cover....and it is to junk it...i am actually going to replace it with plexi glass with black painted on the backside. then it be on a hinge to swing open to the bare metal of te case front and it will be swirrled then that is where the drives will be. the on the plexi that will be painted will have a desing that will be same color as the original plexi (clear) then some LEDs behind the symbols so they light up and maby some LEDs that change colors evry now and then.

what do u guys think. but i cant paint cuz where i live its like 30 degrees and i cant paint then and its snowing to.

oh, I live and minnesota and all we have here now is snow to, it sucks, I wouldnt wreck the case, try making prototypes then see how it looks. I will talk to you on IM when you log in.
