Need Help with DS LED Mod:P

Hi,im new to acidmods
Allright,is it possible to join,say,5 LED leads together to another piece of kynar wire so you can solder that piece to the MoBo instead of soldering each LED lead to a powerpoint on the MoBo?I know its kinda a noob question,but help is appreciated

You can but the issue is that the one point in the motherboard won't be enough to light all 5 up. They'll probably light up but VERY dim. Honestly you're better off using differet leads for each point, mabey 2, so that they can all have good lighting results.

But im gonna put 12 LEDs into the DS. Is there enough points on the MoBo to supply power to 'em all if i solder each one seperately?

Dang man, 12 leds, someone might go blind. I only know of that one point on the top right corner. Like seikene said though your going to need at least 2, for the leds to stay bright.

well I think TimmyDx had all his leds on one location with edhels ds mod
