cant exactly tell what it is.....

Left Handed Warwick Corvette Standard with two single pickups and either an ebony or ziricote body?

its hard to tell because the headstock doesn't have a "W" on it and i cant see the word

Left Handed Tanglewood Warrior Bass, think its an ash body, with a bolt on mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Has 3 brushed chrome controls, 1 volume, and 2 tone for the 2 humbucker pickups. 25 frets ^_^ oh yeah. its a bit heavy though xD

yeah single coils are fine

anyway what sort of distortion were you after?

for fuzz, your lucky cos you live in england: There is no competition for the coloursound tonebender

http://www.macaris.co.uk/product_full.asp?productID=176&typeID=27&catID=5

dont bother with the bass edition, just get the guitar one, its smaller and you can blend in more and more bass but also switch to thinner fuzz for songs like for whom the bell tolls. Seriously for fuzz this thing retains SOOOO much bass its not funny, in traditional fasions fuzz's and distortions suck out all your bottom end, not this beast

if you want more of an allrounder distortion pedal go for the Digitech XBD

Its a LOT cheaper then the coloursound and can handle light overdrive, fuzz, ordinary distortion and emulate other distortion and fuzz pedals

checkit: http://www.digitech.com/products/BassDriver.htm

ive got one of these and there really good

hope that helps

I might actually start saving for that XBD pedal. looks like it fits the bill perfectly.
