IDE HDD to reversed CF/IDE adapter to NEO 2 IN 1 to PSP?

I'm just wondering if I wired the CF card reader pins from something like this to the CF card reader pins of one of these and just supplied an external source of power, would it work?

It has a limiter on it anyway, so you can't go above 4GB's. Useless and expensive if you ask me

true i looked into it i was going to make it internal and found a way to remove the 4gb limitation

also i am still willing to go halfs with someone that wants to do this mod with me

No I meant power, since I doubt the PSP could supply enough through the MSPD reader to power a HDD.

Yeah that's the only reason why I was thinking of using a NEO, the Datel HDD is a lot cheaper but it's useless with because of the 4gb limit.

well cf drives arent hard drives just really big slow old ms format flash drives. im pretty shure u dont need an adapter to use a cf drive. but they are slow and big and ugly .whats the point of this mod this is a step back if you ask me the sd card mod takes way less space adapter is way cheaper data speed is way faster and u dont have to give up your umd drive or mspd and to make this internal you would have to give up both so explain why this is better?

ive wired a the compact flash adaptor for the ipod hdhttp://www.psp-hardware.com/psp/blank-duo-tap/prod_8.html?ccSID=4022df90a8f9ff1304af4f05305fc8c8d to http://  the only issue is power and its realy annoying. thats the only issue iv had so i stopped tinkering with it couldnt make it internal just used long ribbon cable and kept it external

it dsnt work i have no power for it and i cant figuire out how to power it you need to get power t the actual CF adaptor for the HDD so it would have to be a extr power supply
