Solar Pannal PSP Slim Charger?
« on: June 05, 2008, 12:55:12 PM »
I was just wondering if you could mod a small solar panel on the back of your Slim PSP and it will charge it while you play.

Would it be able to be done?

You could mod one in but I wouldn't rely on it to charge and play it at the same time. It could charge it while it is off though sufficiently

I don't think the back would be a good place to put it, as the back is usually not exposed to the sun. I'd do a completely separate piece that just plugs into the PSP's charging port.

@Vox: As long as it outputs 5v, it should charge while playing just fine.

Yes, I understand that but I'm just saying that I wouldn't rely on it to charge and play at the same time because it may not output a steady 5v's
