anyone else read the description? its made to go over top the already existing screen and the connectore looks like you can put wires into it and maybe rig it to the analog, iunno my 2cents

no problem, yeah it donged on mne after seeing the quater on the other side, this still has potential, just need to figure it out, could help for people that are temporarily [or permanantly] handicapped

, its not for the PSP, its for the LCD its self which can be hooked up to a different source. It can be programmed to be used, NOT for the PSP

No it should be moved by that theory. However there is more likelihood of it being used for the PSP as it is the only console with an LCD screen and analogue therefore the only one that it can be used with

The actual touch screen is more software based, It was designed by Sparkfun for use in a computer not a PSP

no more arguing, when i get a phat ill try it out, i was thinking of wireing it to the analog and pulling a kind of nintendo ds-ish thing, but i need money and my right arm [broken finger] so until then your going to hafta wait, but as soon as i get set up ill work on it, anyone feel like helping m out with theory and ill do the physical work?

GUYS!, This is not for the PSP!. It for use with their Sharp screen which happens to be used on the PSP. It also works for other devices, and the touch screen is simply an addon for it. True, it could be used with the PSP (I emphasize on the "Could") but not with changing the touch screen its self and heavy hardware and software modding.

so what your saying is that its not for the psp just the screen, which is on the psp, not to be rude but ive realized this, but the possibility is still there, dont shoot down a dream man, im still going to try it, it will be wired to the analog on the psp, i intend to do it with OFW. i dont see why it couldnt work, both the screen and the analogue are well analogue. it would just take time,planning, and a cool head. jeez...calm down, if you want you can be the first on the team of people helping with this, i know youre not real supportive of this but c'mon, what have we got to loose?

by your theory you could say LEDs are not made for the PSP cos they're not but there still a mod.

Biger peakers that some people have done aka MooToo with his supersound mod. They were for a phone but its stil la PSP mod.

Likewise this touchscreen, it maay not of ben made for the PSP but comeone wants to use it in a PSP mod therefore it has a right of passage.

I'm not saying stop, I'm just stating what it really is. It is possible to hook it up to the PSP, but it requires alot of work. I know how to get this thing running, and I somewhat know how to interface it with the PSP if you guys are interested. It will not work by simply wiring it up to the analog contacts because though they are analog signals they are two different standards. I hope this sums up what I have been saying

I mean there two different signals, you cant just wire them up and expect it to work. Well the touch screen works by outputting the X and Y positions via the 4 pin connector, the analog doesn't work like this so they are in compatible. Of cause it is more complex than this and even if they worked the same they probably wouldn't work either
