I like this idea alot. Lots of possabilities. 1st off you could cut part of the umd casing away so the psp's internal umd switch wont detect a UMD. This would be a great place to install one of AM "HIVE" boards so the leds could chase around the umd. (If you dont know what im talking about then look for Hive board thread)

 :confused: Wait a minute...  :confused: If you do this mod as an alternative to opening your psp up then you will obviously not have a clear UMD door so you wont be able to see the LEDS anyway...  :faint:
Well to the first part yeah, but that be alot of work and this was going to be easy. And to the second part this wasn't an alt to adding led's, it was to add *flare* to the back.

And to the guy that says
that seems really dumb

it's not dumb, this is a great place to start if your new to modding, plus you don't have to solder anything to the mobo (if your not confident with that stuff yet, that is).

Anyway, like think this is a nice idea and hope to see a working version soon.  :tup:

Yeah....well the leds i got were to big and the switch broke...
