Eyebrow Piercing
« on: June 12, 2008, 04:54:14 PM »
As some of you amy know Ive had my eyebrow pierced since october, however revently I started seeing a lot more metal than I should. I didnt think anythign of it cos i didnt see it daily. Being unemployed i never had to go to a mirror to gel my hair or anything so never even thought about it.

Today it was really sore so i took it out and went to have a look, its migrated about 5mm.

I googled it etc and found out that if i hadnt took it out and it mmigrated to rejection I would have been left with a scar D:

I kept it out and started reading on.

I discovered that its common if it gets bashed. Boxing and football meant it got bashed a bit so thats why. Along with taking my helmet on and off =[

My main concern is that I have a big hole in the top of my eytebrow where it used to be then stretched to and I've got to wait 6 months for it to heal fully so i can get it repierced in teh scar tissue so its anchored. Which is good as it means I need not worryu about it after then.

But 6 months with a hole above your eye is gonna suck ass....

I was wondering if anyone else experienced something similiar and might no different? Liek a tightening cream or somethign IDK.

 :help:

I don't think you can haste the healing of the hole. You're lucky it can fully heal.
I have a friend that had a labret piercing for some time and now she hasn't put
a barbel for 2 years and the piercing is still visible.Even with make-up,but just a little.
I love piercings.I have a labret and 6 on my ears.
I plan to do 2 piercings on left side on my nose, tongue, eyebrow and more on my ears.
I <3 piercings!! =)
Good luck with your issue and I hope you re-pierce your eyebrow!!

Maybe that's the time to heal when you have the piercing for like...one or two days.
I've tried to do my labret piercing on my own,I really did pierce my labret with a needle but couldn't put in the barbel.
It healed after a day.
Is your eyebrow still sore?If it isn't try putting your barbel back in.Maybe it's gonna be ok.Happened sometimes with my ears.

it is sore, the barbell wont go in by itself but also the problem is that  if i was to put it back in it would still only be held on by a little bit of skin, I could see the bar through my skin before o_O

oh damn.Better don't put it back in xD
Probably the one that did you the piercing wasn't skilled enough.
And probably the fact that it's just a little bit of skin explains why that happened.

I had it in for over 6 months with no problems then one day I noticed it ... probably was within theew week it got worse =[

Once its healed through the middle Ill get it redone so the scar tissue anchors it =D

i would keep it out for sometime. it may not go back in and stay because you let it go to a thin layer of skin. darn i am glad i don't like piercings.
