This may not be the place to ask but…
« on: June 18, 2008, 04:56:41 PM »
My controller ports are messed up, sometimes I'll be playing Guitar hero and all of the sudden nothing works. And I never had a problem with any of my controllers before. So any ideas? :help:

So it happens with all your controllers? Or just your guitar hero one?

PS2 and normal controller but never the guitar hero one.

have you dropped either of them?

All of the controllers.

do you take the neck of the guitar off alot or ever?

Hardly ever.

So it happens with all your controllers? Or just your guitar hero one?

Well Different things happen with different games but, all of them.

And on a side note. Say… Hypothetically I accidentally pulled a ribbon out of my PS2, How would I put it back so everything worked right again?

just take off the case and check the controller port to see if the ribbon came out if so plug it in if not make sure there isn't any dust or anything that can short out the controller port...

Straighten that flat cable from the ps2 to the controller ports

This Also depends what ps2 model you have

so what model is it?
However today I was brutally raped by a door handle, and none of my friends helped me up off the floor after ten minutes, instead they all teabaged me, all 10 of them...
