Basically the PCB acts as a "hive" for all your consoles signals to "swarm" too where they are processed by the "drones" (code) and sent to the output pads allowing you make sweet sweet honey (LED Effects mainly)

any details on how it makes it special?
or is that what we're waiting for?

or is there any video showing what it can do?

TimmyDX: that really made no sense at all o_o...?

So Basically, it sits between the key functions and the PSP ?

Intercepting the button presses and passing them on to whatever
mod needs the input or needs to be turned on or off ?

And performs functions of it's own such as chasing led controls, dimmer
and other things like that ?

I know right now there is a major problem that every person that is writing
software wants to use the buttons in different ways. Then if we steal or hard-
wire a button to a mod, then any software that wants to use that sequence
of buttons no longer work.

So if I guess right then the Hive collects the button presses, determines  if they are
to control a mod, and if not passes them on to the PSP so all the custom
firmware and software continue to function just as it was supposed to.

MMMMMMM. very crafty sensee .......

It is the key in which to open Pandora's Box of mods

Ok what dose it do ?? will as you can see 1000 diff things just with LEDS as you see in the video's
on any system PS3 Xbox Xbox360 PSP and so on
it can be use for the rapid fire mod since its smaller no crystal needed .. easy install
can use to turn any other mod on or off by programming any key can be added to any mod that already out there like psp sound mod, For example 2 sound mod install in a PSP in dule mode and we have 4 led 2 on each sound board and 4 other led for the jewl now with hive hook up to them can turn what ever on off tell it which stay on when blink this one. and so on ..
can do anything you want it to do any thing you can think off just need the right code
and it will be a universal unit that we will be using for other mods to come.

awsome nice to see it produced

and for the discussion going on - another reason why it is worth it is because of its size - its got the pic, and all the other componants needed to make it work in a size about the same size as a pic chip as it is small as all smd plus its has all the pads which is easyier to solder to than to each leg of the pic that you would buy.

i am not responsible for what i do or my advice

this looks to be one really clever peice of kit, i can just imagine now the things that you could do with it *Evil Smile*.

so is this tread saying that is released? or just to say that you need to finish the code and then you will release them both at the same time?

ok thanks i cant wait for this to be released, but i might get 2 or 3 if im allowed because i might break one if i remove and add things a lot if i change my mind about wiring and stuff

p.s. instead of creating a new thread which would be a bit of a waste, i forgot what the audio chip is called, does the hive have a built in audio chip / can it be used as an amp, if not can someone link me to where i can buy some audio chips please.

p.s.s. i had an idea for a simple printed circuit board to make it easier to solder lots of things too, it wouldn't be hard to make and i think it would improve lots of mods, my idea was to have a pcb with lots of squares that are all joined to eachother, if you wnated to remove a connection from one square on the board to another you just cut the trace, the boards would be quite small and a standard size, and could be inter joinable by soldering the outmost contacts from one side of one board to a different side on another.

they might look something like this

+ = a square soldering pad
- / | = trace
( / ) = solder join

single board:

+-+-+-+
|  |  |  |
+-+-+-+
|  |  |  |
+-+-+-+

two boards joined:

+-+-+-()-+-+-+
|  |  |  |  |  |  |
+-+-+-()-+-+-+
|  |  |  |  |  |  |
+-+-+-()-+-+-+

i hope you understand what i mean, if you cant produce these than that is fine or if you know where i can buy some or get some produced then i would greatley appreciate it. thanks

google custom pcb u will find all kinda companys that do it kinda pricy for small ones better to order a whole bunch as am is doing and they will also make double sided ones with traces in the middle so u dont have to glue 2 togeather
