Its a tutorial on how to upgrade your 20gb xbox HDD. It seems to be so simple thats its hard to believe. Do you think it really works??

No you can't. They only make use to 320GB 2.5" laptop HDD as far as I know.

Hey, long time lurker, first time poster.

According to the forums at xbox-hq.com, this simple ghosting procedure doesn't work. Then again, all the posts are back from when the 360 was set up to only run 20Gb drives and there was some speculation that it would work when MS released the new 120Gb drives in the hopes that they were just dropping the part of the firmware that restricted the drive size to 20Gb.

The tutorial is very old and based on the idea that it hasn't been passed around to lots of other sites (like this one) I would be willing to bet that ghosting doesn't work to make a huge drive. If you plan on trying it, I suggest going with the cheapest drive you can find first so you don't ruin anything expensive. Good luck.  :drunk:

Thanks for the welcome.

I think the firmware thing is just wishful thinking. I too doubt it works.
