Controller mod w/ xbox controller

okay i am posting this to get ur guys tips and suggestions on how to make it the best it can be. wat i am doing is connecting a clear mini xbox controller to my psp with a single connector. If i can get this to work i want to add leds to the controller and i already have leds on my psp so they would all match.

my progress
so far i have wired up the psp's  X^[] O and analog stick all i have left is the dpad which is super hard and i have already have had issues with so wish me luck

i will try to get pics as soon as i finish and if u have any tips suggestions or anything just post it or pm me watever u want

Sounds good, Once the D-Pad is done it is smooth sailing from there.

Sounds like a good plan. One other important difference to note is that Xbox controllers also use potentiometers in the L and R triggers.

If possible turn pots into digital ones, if not, replace with tact switches.

ya thanks for that info guy i was thinking bout doing that cuz i got some tac switch things and to convert them to digital i just do the same as an analog right and if u could tell me how to wire it that would be nice to if not i will eventually figure it out

yea have fun with the d-pad i tried connecting psp to a ps2 controller but having larg issues with the d-pad.

sorry for the delays guys but the dpad was hard but my psp is all wired up i am waiting on the connector and i am starting to do the controller woooooo

and to have good comment from u kicks makes me feel special  :tup:

Nice.  If you lost interest in your psp after you are done modding, you should try selling.  You would get a lot of money for that on ebay.
