Install LEDs with a switch?
« on: July 12, 2008, 04:03:10 PM »
can anyone please explain to me how to install a switch so i can turn my LEDs on and off?
I have a switch that is exactly the same as the memory/wifi switch and ive got the silver switch cover thingy that goes over the top of it. I was thinking about running my wires from the powerboard, up the right hand side, and then install the switch about 3/4 up the trim, there is alot of space inside the psp there, and then run the wires up the top and then to the triggers. sounds simple, but i just need to know how to install the switch

please help

u have to wire the leds either to the wifi switch or the hold switch ..... if u wire it to wifi u wont b able to switch the wifi off and if u wire to hold u will lose hold functionality(i think there is a new way in which u can keep it) ....

thanks chase for this sig =)

yes ive decided to install the LEDs onto the Wifi switch. So, all i have to do is scratch the trace off the bottom leg and then bridge the top two legs then solder my negative (-) wire to the bottom leg? am i right?
