cold turkey

ive decided that this year when i go on holiday (13days) i am going to go cold turkey and just not go on the internet my entire holiday (last year i did and racked up a bill of about £250. im still taking my laptop as its asking to much for me not to use that for two weeks lol but its still going to be the longest ive been without internet access for over 3 years at least and i havnt been away from my computer (or the net0 for any longer than 3 or 4 days in the past 2-3 years so i think its going to be a bit of a shock.

anyone got any suggestions on how i could stop myself from using it for the two weeks as i dont want to go on it i just want to try and have a network free holiday but i know i will struggle lol.



i just read over my post and it sounds stupid lol it make it sound like i have an adiction to drugs or something but its the net not a drug lol

that doesnt help an adict lol - "hey mr coke addict drop the needle and go outside jump or do rope or somthin" doubt it would work lol. plus the thing is i do still go out etc its just ever other time im on the net and its even worse with me having an iphone. when i first wake up im on the net and checking my email, when im out doing jobs etc im using my iphone for the net and email, when i get home in straight back on then i will go out again or go do tea then im back on again till i goto bed, sometimes i will even wake up in the middle of the nite and go on. its a habbit i tell ya its a habbit and i jsut cant shake it lol.

gran canaria for two weeks first week at club cala blanca and second week at anfi beach club

where im going isnt to close to the clubs etc and plus im going with my parents as i cant afford a holiday with my mates this year due to lack of job and spending all my money lol. and were in a 2 bedroom apartment me, my mum n dad and my sister. so i will either be on the setty or in one of the rooms. but i will be going the beeches its as i said the other times when im not doing that sort of stuff i seem to just automatically go on the net

ermmm get a new gadget to occuppy yourself with like the new iphone 3G!! lol the new 2.0 firmware allows you to use 3rd party apps without jailbreaking. i might be getting one when o2 release it on payg.

lol i got an iphone 2g jailbroke and as soon as payas you go comes out im getting that sob and unlocking it, jailbreaking it and using it on itunes and giving my sis my old one

yeh but you can video if you jailbreak and install one of the multiple video recording apps which no doubt will find there way into the official app store
